Overview

Thanks to the unique geometry of its 63 mm special steel burrs, your coffee tastes richer whether you brew filter, espresso, AeroPress, cold brew or anything else.

01

63 mm flat blind burrs that stay aligned

  • Vertical burrs for less retention and always fresh coffee
  • Blind burrs for more consistency, fewer fines and fewer boulders — a superior taste profile
  • Tight mechanical tolerances keep the burrs aligned
  • Hardened steel for a longer life
  • A special geometry that works for every brew method
02

Pre-breaker

Grinds every roast consistently, and as fine as you could ask for.

  • Pre-breaker and burrs together grind even the lightest roasts super fine
  • Pre-breaking the beans lets the burrs do their real work: shaping the grounds nice and round
  • Less work for the burrs means less heat — and more taste in the cup
03

One grinder for every brew method

  • From super fine to super coarse
  • Stepless grind adjustment from 100 to 1000 microns
  • From light roast to dark roast
  • Single dosing or grinding on demand
  • Every grinder is calibrated the same way, so recipes carry over to any Bentwood Vertical 63
04

Cool grinding

Keeping cool is key to getting the most taste out of your coffee.

  • A double ventilation system
  • A thermo-protected motor
  • Pre-breaker, burrs and a large aluminium grinding chamber keep things cool

Bentwood is a Swiss company that sets out to make the most innovative, highest-quality coffee grinders in the world. Every grinder is manufactured with care and tested with coffee.

The name recalls the bentwood chairs and coat stands of the first coffee houses — above all in Vienna, where the company's founder was born — where artists, thinkers and business people met over a good drink and conversation. In a world where so much happens virtually, Bentwood stands for the real thing: real quality, real precision, real materials.
